The Diversion of Ted Cruz and the Faux Outrage of the Establishment

They are at it again! The beltway bilkers and the establishment grifters are clutching their collective pearls and expressing shock, shock at another contrived scandal. This time around, Ted Cruz is the plug and play flavor of the moment as one fraud after another take their turn to express their outrage and pretend like what just occurred is some appalling deviation from the norm.
Never mind that our bumbling president went on CNN just three days ago and revealed his inner David Duke nor is there any need to be concerned about a mass-vaccination campaign that does nothing to address the root causes of a pandemic that is gashing the world. What use is there for factual reporting when there is a sham lynching to be conducted. The same establishment that is knee-deep in conflicts of interests and actively engaged in corruption all the sudden have become guardians of the public trust.
Let us pause for a second and consider why Ted Cruz saw it perfectly acceptable for his family and him to flee to Cancun while his home state was mired in a polar vortex that has taken the lives of dozens of Texans. It’s not like this man is stupid; say what you will of him but Cruz is a very bright man. So if the reason for his decision cannot be laid at the feet of ineptitude, there must be a more sinister reason for his lack of sagacity on this front. The answer is simple; Cruz understood that his jaunt to Mexico was not a radical departure from accepted behavior for public serpents and those who are charged with keeping them accountable...continued...
