Establishment of adequately-equipped Ophthalmic Departments & Services in the Massawa, Ghinda and Afabet hospitals and clinics in the past years has resulted in drastic reduction of trachoma and other eye diseases from 10% (Survey conducted in 2006) to less than 1% (2019 Survey)

የልደቱ እና ኢ/ር ይልቃል አቋም ተቃዋሚ ነኝ፡፡ 45 አመት ሙሉ ደከመኝ ታከተኝ ሳይል ለጨፈጨፈን እና እስካሁንም የሚያስጨፈጭፍ ስርአት ለተከለብን ወያኔ ይሄን ያህል መንሰፈሰፍ ምንድነው? ብልጽግናን ለመጥላት ለህወሀት መንሰፍሰፍ አያስፈልግም::

ለአማራ ከህወሀት ይልቅ ኤርትራዊያን ብሄራዊ ወዳጅ እንደሆኑ የምንናገረው ሳይሆን በተግባር የታየ ነው፡፡ ከአማራ ሱዳን ይቀርበኛል ብሎ ለወጋን አካል እንወግን ወይስ ከሱዳን ኢትዮጵያ ትቀርበኛለች ብሎ ከጎናችን ለቆመው ኢሳያስ እንወግን? በዚያ ላይ ደግሞ እነዚህ ሁለት ፖለቲከኞች ፖለቲካ የአሁን ጊዜ መሆኑን የተገነዘቡ አይመስልም፡፡ ህወሀት እና አስተሳሰቡ ደመኛ ጠላታችን ነው፡፡ ህወሀት የማይካድራውን ግፍ በቀጣይ እንዳይደግም የታደጉን ኤርትራዊያን ናቸው፡፡

ኤርትራ ወልቃይት ጠገዴን እና ራያን አልቀማንም፡፡ የቀማን ህወሀት ነው፡፡ ለመሆኑ እነ አቶ ልደቱ ለእነዚህ በግዞት ስር ዘራቸው ሲጠፋ ለኖሩ ወገኖቻችን ምን ትንፍሽ ብለው ያውቃሉ? ምንም!

ትግራይ ላይ ተደረገ ስለተባለው ነገር መጀመሪያ በገለልተኛ ወገን የተጣራ መረጃ እንፈልጋለን፡፡ ግፍ ተፈጽሞ ከሆነ እንቃወማለን፡፡ ለአሁኑ ግን በእውነታው እና በህወሀት ፕሮፓጋንዳ መካከል ያለውን አቧራ አጥርተን ማየት ስለማንችል ለፍርድ የሚያስቸኩለን ነገር የለም፡፡

According to IMF estimate, 2021 projected Real GDP growth for Eritrea is 5.7%. Covid19 and 2020 have been difficult, so this comes as positive, encouraging news.

This Day in Eritrea's History.

On Jan 29, 1952, the UNGA adopted Res A/RES/530 on "Economic & financial provisions relating to Eritrea." The Resolution decided that Eritrea shall receive, without payment, the movable & immovable property located in Eritrea owned by the Italian State.

The property the UNGA referred in this Resolution included;
-The public property of the State;
-The inalienable property of the State;
-The property of the Fascist Party and its organizations
-The alienable property of the State;

The property belonging to the autonomous agencies (aziende auto-nome) of the State which are:
-Ferrovie dell'Eritrea
-Azienda Speciale Approvigionamenti
-Azienda Miniere Africa Orientale (AMAO)
-Azienda Autonoma Strade Statali (AASS);

The Res. stated that it did not restrict the right of the Administering Power (Britain) to make, during the period of its administration, such dispositions of property whether limited to that period or otherwise, as may be required by law or may be appropriate for the good government of the territory, or may be necessary for the implementation of the present resolution.

However, the Resolution did not give Britain the power to dispose what the British Military Admin disposed between 1941 and 1952, which is worth around 3 billion pounds in today's value.

The UNGA Resolution required Italy to continue to be liable for the payment of civil & military pensions or other retirement benefits earned, as at the date of coming into force of the Treaty of Peace with Italy and owed by it at that date.

On Jan 30, 2004, the UNSG appointed Llyod Axworthy, frmr Canadian MoF, as its Special Envoy to Eritrea & Ethiopia. Despite being final & binding, he characterized EEBC decision as “something that has to be worked at” & “needs to be developed.” Eritrea, rejected his appointment.
