Ethiopian Army was ranked 6th just before the war with Tigray started and now it is ranked 23rd and will drop down even more as the war drags on until Tigray wins it completely. Obviously the War in Tigray has virtually obliterated Ethiopian Army and cursedarteran Army. The ranking is done every 3 years and cursedartera is one of the few countries in Africa that does not show up in the list of ranking( North Korea of Africa).
For many years (up to 2017) the weyane-led Army of Ethiopia was ranked 3rd, but it dropped to 6th in year 2020, because of the destruction it incurred by Meshrefet in the last 3years. Sudan Army is ranked 10th and Egyptian Army a distant 1st in Africa.
