TPLF could have saved its [deleted], provided she took the following measures

My analysis show that, TPLF did grave mistake by early decision to take action on the Ethiopian military base. It was very important to lay down all the obstacles and how to minimize losses once the war started. 3 important steps TPLF should have taken before starting the mess:-
1/ train as many Tigaru youths as possible, if possible to 300k-400k
2/ Extend those training to rebels active in some kililis by helping in logistics, personal training, weapons, etc.
3/ while doing the above, resume talk with the central government and persuade that a peaceful dialogue to negotiate on common interests-so that would help buy time and lay down strategies how to defend and then go for offensive measures.
4/ Finally, I have never dreamed of TPLF that much dumb and lived emotion -driven life throughout its establishment.

Nobody knows what exactly happened between tplf and its former colleagues. Attacking the military base and the all craps hard to believe.
Yes Tplfites were not that dumb but my suspicion goes to that they knew what Shaabiya and Abiy had been cooking for them and left them with no choice thus they took preemptive strike. Whether they attacked the base or not, they would have never been spared from being attacked by Abiy and Isayas, simple.
TPLF peacefully relinquished power and left for home trusting Abiy’s administration for they will be safe in playing distant politics in meqele. I bet they never expected the Gobena is going this far. Had they know this is coming, they could have burnt that country into ash. The entire defense institution was in a middle of their palm and nothing could’ve stopped them.
Now Gobena surrounded by Dergu’s Hamsa aleQawoch and Mahbere Qidusan is on power and what is next for that miserable country?
Shall Gobena be able leading the nation to peace, stability and deliver us the democracy he promised, or he plays enat Hager weym mot and he will send the country to its ultimate disintegration? This is now one hell of a question that needs an immediate answer.

Nah man, every thing that rises, must eventually come down, every empire collapses, and no army that ever existed is perfect or without weaknesses. That's life, sir. TPLF was blinded by its greed, power, etc, and got what it deserved.

Obbo Macca,
Get yourself out of tplfphobia. We are not talking about what tplf deserves, tplf is now a history and we are discussing a past tense, why, how and to what happened?
And above all what is to come under colonel Gobena next is the most important thing.

EPRDF,
TPLFites were con men with a gift: they knew how to bullshit dumb people. They figured out how to use lies as a weapon. TPLF convinced many Tigrayans & other ethno-fascists that there was a national anti-Tagaru/Oromo conspiracy, controlled by Amhara, who’re trying to destroy Tigray, exterminate Tagaru tribe however, the opposite was true. TPLF exterminated their cousins in Wolkait/Tsegede because of GREED to colonize land and expand territory while they could have lived anywhere in the country and get rich without annexing lands. They're greedy MFu*kers!
So, it was damn of TPLF to do "preemptive strike"; they should have submitted to Abiy government if they were wise but, didn't; they imagined of being more powerful than Gobena/Menelik! WRONG!
They found out the hard way. Brought disaster to Tigrayans; no excuse!
Good riddance; they're gone for good!

I was more or less, letting Tegadalay Tolcha know that, their fate was bound to be like this.
Every dictatorship, no matter how powerful, comes to an end.
Gantuu Abiy, will, without a doubt, face the same fate, eventually.
All empires, also, in due time, collapse. Only Allaah remains, forever, everything else will perish.
TPLF's mistakes are those that the typical tyrants make: got greedy, blinded by the desire for more loot and power, made enemies left and right, in this particular case, they even betrayed the same dudes [shabia] who taught them how to fight and brought them, on their tanks, to Obbo Menelik's Palace in Finfinne/Addis Ababa.

The war was inevitable since Isaias said he is going to destroy TPLF in February 2020. He said he does not have new tools to do that - just good old war. He said he will not try to convince them.
Here's how another facebooker tired to rationalize the preemptive action,
Around 14:40

EPDRF, your heart bleeds profusely for Weyanes. Its OK, but what you wrote doesn't even make sense. 70% of the Ethiopian army all including the mechanized brigade is situated in Tigry, and most of the higher echelon of the army were Tigryans if anything concreate was hatched by Abiy with Issyas they would have known it a long time ago. That is why when weynes conspire to attack the Nothern command center, EDF found itself to be a sitting duck. Had the Amhara Special force didn't take the sting out first, and Eritrea didn't give the Ethiopian army space and protection it needed to retreat to Eritrea and reorganized, Abiy's government would have collapsed and Ethiopian\ would have sunk into civil war. A civil war that would have made Syria's and Yemen's civil war a child play. Weyans had a lot of chance to recalibrate their political stance and still remain relevant, given the political sentiment expressed in you and the Ayatola followers. They could have hibernated for some time and again could have become a danger to Ethiopia. But they were so pigheaded to think that far. Which worked fine for Ethiopians. There was no threat against them but paranoia. Paranoia is what made them do the deed of the proverbial haiyna "የጀብ ችኩል ቀንድ ይነክሳል"
