O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

A warning against fake news from very long time ago. The wicked of our time are the likes of the deqi Agames and Alexandra DeWaal, ex-wife of Siyoum (Ambaye ) Mesfin Gebre-Dingel. Alexandra DeWaal (intellectual ? Tufts ? ) is a sign of the decline of the Western Civilization.
If you have time and love the English language read the book written by Edward Gibbon( unabridged). It will test your character and teach you patience.
