I hate to say this but there's a sub culture that developed in Sawa. I have heard stories and I didn't think and still don't think it's wide spread. If it's true, this explains what's being alleged.

Having said that, Eritrea is God fearing people and I can comfortably say this is against our culture during the struggle years.
