The Aksum Post wishes all Ethiopians unity of purpose and start working hard to change the economic underdevelopment Ethiopia is unfortunately in. The economic slavery we are in can be eliminated by working hard and changing the internal market of about 115 million consumers to our benefit.

We need to build thousands of schools and at least 1 university in each district (around 100 universities). We need colleges for vocational training in every sub-district, which means around 450 colleges.

The current war in Tigray and other parts of the country is counter productive. The government should focus on building the country rather than engage in counterproductive power struggle which can be resolved through negotiations. Negotiations and discussions are the right way to build democracy. Taking up guns for issues of power succession is unnecessary and destructive.

We need to end the current crisis by all means necessary. We need to deport all Eritreans from Ethiopia and regulate any migration from Eritrea. The government should stop allowing troops from Eritrea to kill Ethiopians or destroy their property. We need to overthrow the government and form a transitional government until elections take place.
