Given this onerous state of our nation and the planet as a whole, independent media have two choices: either watch helplessly as our voices and our reach are decimated or we give up. But we at the Ghion Journal have decided to go a third way. Where social media giants use high tech means to suppress our reach, we ask our readers and supporters to go low-tech in order to overcome their roadblocks. Instead of depending solely on Twitter, Facebook and Google to disseminate our articles, a vital component of our outreach is email.
