Former Assistant of State for African Affairs, Mr. Hermann Cohen, said in this video something like "OLF representatives were there all the time from the beginning of the meeting (so called London Summit) but they kept themselves quiet all the time, it was only at the end that Lencho Leta requested to have a referendum for his party as well, to which we said that it is too late now, you have to discusse this issue with the incoming government of Ethiopia itself".
Lencho Leta, as a key participant of the meeting, claimed on multiple occasions that the OLF, which he represented, was there just for a matter of formalizing the meeting as a one at which all relevant parties have taken part and tried to underline that his party, the OLF, was essentially told about the premade decision, not allowed to actively participate and co-decide on the issues of the meeting themselves.
