Opposition does not mean taking the side of a national enemy
That is treason. Opposition is local. Meaning you oppose local politics. However, taking the side of an outside enemy does not make you a legitimate opposition. You may not like Isayas and his government. For instance, if Eritrea is invaded by outside forces, you are supposed to line up with him to defend the country. Weyane has been the enemy of the Eritrean people. The weyanes were playing games with the opposition. They were trying to kill Eritrea. They were hoping that Isayas was going to do the job for them. Weyanes are the enemy of the Eritrean people. I don't know to what extent Isayas involved Eritrea in this war. But, the weyanes were lying and lying for one purpose and one purpose only. To play the game of Helen of Troy. They have no future with Ethiopia. They have the same mentality Halafi Mengedi does. That is invade Eritrea with the help of the opposition and then trick the opposition through some kind of fake parliament to unite Tigray and Eritrea into one nation. It is an impossible dream, but it is the only hope they have. You may not like the government of Eritrea, but working against national interest is treason by definition.
