Ambassador Bilal Al-Masri : Long term Ethiopian strategic aim starts at Fashaqa and ends at the Red Sea coast of the Sudan.
So, what does he advise the Sudanese to do ? In his view Sudan should be firm on two things :
1) Keeping the military option open
2) Never compromising its territorial integrity by allowing Ethiopian farmers to farm on its soil because Ethiopia has a history of trying to devour its neighbours' lands. In the case of Badme in Eritrea it led to the war of 1998-2000.

Abbiy,
If he is a bit smarter, he needs to solve this one peacefully. Other wise, the Arabs will devour Ethiopia. The Sudanese are very soft when they are approached in a peaceful manner. Otherwise, Egypt will take an advantage diplomatically as well as militarily. Abbiy does not need that.
