definitely Shimalis Abdissa is not the problem, ye-zer Politika is not the root problem, Takele Uma and Addis Ababa were also not the problem.
The problem was and still is about (political) power based on self-aggrandizing narrative of the old guards. TPLF went through much of the curves of making different claims of different problems, leaving the political party that itself created before 3 decades in order to rule over Ethiopia and disowning it once its upper-hand has been remove in the party and then went as far as attacking the national defense force of the country while waving the national flag of that same country in public.
Chauvinist Amhara elites are also making many different claims and complaints about the bloodshed of many innocent lives of the citizens of the country. As sad as those crimes are , the victims were never the Amhara alone, in all of the atrocities even in Maika-Dira, there are ports indicating that the victims also included other ethnicities. The same is true about the ferocious and heinous crimes committed in Metekel-Gumuz kilil of the country.
Their demand for Abiy must resign and Kilils must be dissolved have less to do with stopping the atrocities and if they did, then it is definitely not clear about how it will going to stop them. The demand is motivated and purported as a means to come to power and if they are not in power then everything in the country have to vanish in thin air.
I said before and I repeat it here: chauvinism is not better by any means than narrow nationalism, we have to get rid of both, not just one of them, if we are seriously interested in building in a better tomorrow.
In fact there are many indications that both camps are cooperating with each other to destroy Ethiopia and all citizens should now raise up and defend their country.
This will not be a solution and it will never lead to building a democratic and inclusive society in Ethiopia, it will only perpetuate the miseries of our people and Ethiopian should stand up and stop those who are endangering the future of their country and the wellbeing of the coming generation in unison.
