The Oromos or Galla are not Ethiopians. They are not part of the Geez culture. They write in Latin alphabets. They have their own religion which is similar to some form of religion found in Black Communities in all Africa. Ethiopian is one of th oldest Christian countries. The fact that the Galla or Oromo have their own religion and do not use Ethiopia alphabet shows they are not Ethiopians.
However, TPLF facilitated the creation of Oromo region with fast area of land that never have been under Oromo. The Amhara, Tigray , Guraghe, Sidamo and other ethnic groups have been living in these areas until the Oromo invaded the area and took control of it.
The political elites in Ethiopia are confused. False claims of Oromos and Somali has been accepted as democratic and many see these claims are just. But the historical facts are ignored and one cannot accept the Oromo claim as right.
Ethiopian political elites need to confront the Oromos and address the false claims. This is not about Amhara people. It is about all Ethiopians, specially to all Ethiopians who have been part of Ethiopia for more than 2000 years.
