Kichamo Komalo - Good boy! You correctly recited the four stages of hydrologic cycle from your 3rd grade science lesson but you wrongly related it to the rainfall in Ethiopia. This is obviously due to your usual skewed view of reality and inherent ignorance.

Apparently, they didn’t teach you the following two essential facts:
1) The major trigger of the July-September (Kiremt) rainfall in the highlands of Ethiopia is the monsoon activity over Indian Ocean, not the evaporation and condensation of the Nile River. “የኢትዬዽያ ጠረፍ ላይ ሲደርስ ቅዝቃዜው ደመና ይፈጥራል.” You must have recently received this stupid information from Debreporno who is hiding in a sh!thole at the border, staring at the sky day and night.

2) As it stands, a quarter of the water from the surface of the Nile evaporates into the atmosphere. Storing more of that water is the main goal of the Renaissance Dam, so that the losses in evaporation could be cut. Only a dense person like yourself thinks the reduction of evaporation losses from the Nile would impact the amount of precipitation in Ethiopia. KIFU!

Selam the dumb a'ss taxi driver ethioarse has a point here.
The water which evaporates once it reaches Egypt is collected by 10 million uber special small tanks holding car drivers and released as rainfalls by those drivers over Ethiopian highlands to refill the Nile. And this nut case is trying to be hired by Egypt to drive their uber.
LOL.

Ethoash, let it go. It is a different time. The “Golden’s” being the know-it-all is not working anymore.
At the time that the Sebhat’s are looking the safest cave to make it for the night, people might not take their foot soldiers’ theory seriously.
By the way, Ethoash , evaporation does not only occur in Egypt.

Ethiopia has to come up with alternative scenarios. Even politung downstream Abay water with Carcinogenic chemicals can be a short term option, if Egypt/Sudan are Endangering Ethiopia's security!!!

Egypt's $58 Billion New Administrative Capital City - (It will have a size of Madrid City of Spain)

The New Administrative Capital is a large-scale project in Egypt that has been under construction since 2015.

The new city is to be located 45 kilometers (28 miles) east of Cairo and just outside the Second Greater Cairo Ring Road, the city will become the new administrative and financial capital of Egypt, housing the main government departments and ministries, as well as foreign embassies.

On 700 square kilometres (270 sq mi) total area, it would have a population of 6.5 million people, though it is estimated that the figure could rise to seven million.

Officially, a major reason for the undertaking of the project was to relieve congestion in Cairo, which is already has a population of nearly 20 million.

The city is planned to consist of 21 residential districts and 25 "dedicated districts". Its downtown is to have skyscrapers and a tall monuments said to resemble the Eiffel Tower and the Washington Monument. The city will also have a central park, artificial lakes, about 2,000 educational institutions, a technology and innovation park, 663 hospitals and clinics, 1,250 mosques and churches, a 90,000 seat stadium, 40,000 hotel rooms, a major theme park four times the size of Disneyland, 90 square kilometers of solar energy farms, an electric railway link with Cairo and a new international airport at the site of the Egyptian Air Force's existing Wadi al Jandali Airport.

It will be built as a smart city. It is planned that the transfer of parliament, presidential palaces, government ministries and foreign embassies will be completed between 2020 and 2022, at a cost of US $45 billion. A full cost and timescale for the overall project has not been disclosed. but estimated to be between 58 - 60 Billion dollars The first government officials were moved into their new offices in 2019.

Kichamo Komalo Yaballo - Don’t even mention your cuckoo-head buddy “Ethoarse,” whose comprehension of climatology is equivalent to a 3rd grader. If he sees a couple of Ashenda girls in a tea ceremony, he would blame their whistling tea kettle for the sudden rainfall in the dry land of Dedebit.

- Selam doesn’t support changing the natural course of any water system, let alone Abay or its tributaries.
- Selam commented on the naive and simplistic view of a Woyane dumbazz who attributed the Kiremt rainfall in the highlands of Ethiopia to the evaporation of The Nile River in the downstream regions. He must have been thanking Misr whenever it pours in Dedebit.

With regards to your mambo jumbo, I will say this: you have the facts backwards. The majority of the Kiremt rainfall in Ethiopian highlands is a direct result of the Indian monsoon and east Pacific sea‐level pressure, not Atlantic. The Atlantic Ocean has a completely different dynamics but let’s defer its effect on the rest of the Ethiopian seasons and the semi‐arid lowland areas of eastern, southern, and southwestern Ethiopia to the experts. BTW - You’re well suited to give that 3rd grader cadre a basic English lesson lest he appears pseudointellectual. KIFU!

Selamicha,

Etoash has a point though slightly off-course.

First, the kremit summer rains that fall on the Ethiopian highlands located west of the Great Rift Valley DO NOT originate on the Indian Ocean [as you thought] but on the Atlantic Ocean or, more specifically, in the section of that ocean known as 'The Gulf of Guinea' [west of Congo & South of Nigeria].

However, the regions of Ethiopia located east of the Great Rift Valley - especially the Somali Kilil, South-eastern Oromia [Bale, Borana, Hararghe, etc], South Omo [Debub Kilil], Afar Kilil, Eastern Wollo+Tigray, etc, get rains that originate on the Indian Ocean & fall as "The Belg Rains" in these regions. But, the Blue Nile basin gets ALL of its waters from the summer rains that arrive from the Atlantic Ocean, central Africa & the wetter parts of Southern Sudan [marshlands of the 'Sudd'].

That is: a significant portion of the moisture or evaporation that falls as rain on western Ethiopia comes from the evaporation that occurs on the rain forest central Africa [Congo, etc] & the wetlands of SOUTHERN SUDAN where the White Nile creates a massive in-land lake [marshes] known as the Sudd as the White Nile meanders over a vast plain creating a huge shallow lake/marshlands [Sudd].

A mixture of intense heat that hits this shallow inland lake [Sudd marshes] creates a massive amount of evaporation that join the clouds that come from the Atlantic Ocean [Gulf of Guinea] & fall as summer rains on the western highlands of Ethiopia.

So, any human-caused or natural changes that affect the order of nature in central Africa & Southern Sudan WILL affect the amount of rain that falls on the Ethiopian highlands &, by logic, the amount of water that flows into the Blue Nile & its various tributaries.

For example, Egypt & Sudan - with billions of dollars gotten from their Arab friends & The World Bank - started a huge project called "The Jonglei Canal" meant to divert the course of the White Nile so that it stops draining into the above mentioned massive inland lake or marshes [Sudd] flows directly towards Egypt thus providing it with more water.

But, that project was abandoned both due to the Sudanese civil wars plus for its very negative environmental impacts that, among other things, would've reduced the amount of rain that falls on the Ethiopian Highlands.

Had the "Jonglei Canal" project went through, millions of humans, domestic & wild animals in southern Sudan would've perished. Had the Sudd marshes were left to dry-up due to the 'Jonglei Canal', Basically, the intensity & frequency of droughts would've increased on the Ethiopian Highlands.

HENCE: it is much .. much better of the BABOONS of Africa left the nature alone as they are NOT GOOD AT ANY THING POSITIVE+PRODUCTIVE EXCEPT DESTROYING WHAT FERENJIS HAD BUILT FOR THEM IN A RECORD PERIOD OF TIME!!!! ... Ahhhh USELESS NEGORS!! NO MENGUSTAN!! ... NAGAATTI.
