The Eritrea-Ethiopia Claims Commission found TPLF-led gov of Ethiopia liable for looting & stripping of property (during the 1998-2000 War) including; 600 trucks (the number is estimated at 4k) worth US$24,525,000 & property losses worth $46,000,000 owned by Eritreans deported from Ethiopia.

In the 1870s Ras Alula massacred 2/3 of the Kunama & Nara people, pillaged Tigre people in Keren & Sahel areas taking 7k to 8k sheep & goats, as many cattle & some 15000 Thalers. The looting changed the Kunama societal structure, from cattle-based to crop-based.
