He is one of the few like Samora Yenus who refused to go to Mekele in preparation for the war and is still working as a minister and advisor for the PM. TPLF even issued a public call to force him come to Mekele but he refused. He hasn’t been seen in public for weeks triggering a media speculation. This is his first public appearance in recent weeks ending speculation where he stands.
