Of the various groups of people that have suffered in "Tigray", the Axum Muslims stand out the most.
Not least because they stood up to TPLF when it was strongest. They broke the fear to start "let our voice be heard" movement throughout Ethiopia.
They stood their ground and denounced the junta when almost everyone was afraid of it. Sure they got defeated by the Junta but this was when TPLF was at its apogee.
Now times have changed. Freedom is at hand. And these people deserve recognition and they deserve compensation. What better way to do this than build them a brand new mosque in their land of origin?
I believe in Abiy Ahmed and general Samoora Yoonis (an Axumite Muslim) to make this happen.
Re: The Mosque in Axum
Tej TeLa AreQe and MasinQo bet is allowed in every corner, but a place of worship is forbidden. Ethiopia land of Bizzare.
Re: The Mosque in Axum
I beg to differ, tplf aka malelit aka marxist ala Albania entity. It doesn't give a rat's asz about religions or faith. It would have been its wish to build not only one but several mosques in axum by funding it. But scared or should I say were scared when they were in power having in mind fanatic axumites such as the types of abe abraham who were the obstacle. Perhaps colonel abi will do something about it.
