Yes, the Amhara Region has been made by design the poorest in the world in terms of any measurement. At last you can't accuse them of looting other parts of the country and shipping resources to their enclave like TPLF and OLF. However, you still are habitually accusing them for being resolute and never to negotiate on the integrity of the country that you so hard are working to disintegrate.

You take their material resources but, you never take their dignity. You take control of all the political and military power in the country but, you never is able to subjugate them. You try to artificially minimize their number in the census but. you never are able to reduce their simmering bravery and their presence even in your dreams. You burning their worshipping places, their houses and their meager properties but they always are on the move to bounce back and rebuild. Yes, the Amhara Region has been made by design the poorest in the world in terms of any measurement. the default implication of my thread is that the people in question are characterized as stated and hence are needy. If then, how come you think of them looted? Is the looter gonna loot their bed bug or lice? What you came up with in relation to economy is illogical and falls out of context.
Other issues you touched, like dignity and worship, etc are all subject of next episode.
Meanwhile, I am not sure who you are referring to when you state "you control of all the political and military .. to subjugate them." The institutions you mention, to my knowledge, are property (enablers) of Amhara even for begging on the streets of Oromia.

From an Eritrean/outsider point of view, this just proves that the people of Amhara can't be accused of looting unlike agames... How can you expect the people of Amhara to be in a better situation when your TPLF organization categorized them as the worst enemy and treated them a such? Now only that, you agames looted their fertile lands almost 30 years ago and they had to suffer for three decades. How about you agames committing genocide on the people of Amhara by sterilizing their women to extinct them! I can go on and on to list the crimes you have committed on them...
