Owned by Somalis and based in Nairobi, it basically supplies Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Zambia, DR Congo and even Tanzania and Mozambique.

Everything is owned by Somalis and they have converted the little shops they bought 20 years ago into hotels, multi complex apartments and shopping malls.

It has over 55 shopping malls and over 40,000 shopping retail outlets, over 20 hotels.
