If I were the leader I would have done the same way too. The reason is despite they will be deployed I think that is the right thing to release them all, may be keep them for a while to delay their deployment but Tigray should not harm them because they were in Tigray to protect Tigray, they did not come to attack Tigray like the others. I hope Tigray does not have any prisoner of war, just kill them all from both side enemies unless the Eritreans surrendered before they start shooting then Tigray should accept them and treat them like their own, the same is true from other ethnics groups. The one I would kill is Amhara regardless.
