The so called liyu hail is a private property of their own kilil. In federalism principle a kilil is an autonomous entitiy, independent of the other kilils. I don't think that Amhara kilil consulted with A. A. when recruiting and building a fighting force of the region that is bigger than what it can even maintain and sustain.

We were questioning the idea that took Ato Eskinder Nega to Bahirdar for the first time outside of A. A., where he claimed to stand for and represent its interest.

Geographically Adama would have been nearer to Addis Ababa than Bahirdar, but blood is thicker than water or so, like they say.

This so called liyu hail seems to me to not even understand what it is doing and what it is up to. It was created based on the provisions of the constitution of the country but then it went out to show in public trying to discard the constitution itself.

Now the country's president showed solidarity with the same entity that was disparaging the country's constitutionally established flag in public by taking photo posture along with and donating money to.

I have said long time ago that there is no need for the so called kilils to build such a massive fighting force that they can't even maintain and now the other regions have to spring in lending their supporting hands to the same force, which is created and maintained to kill and maim the people of the country itself.

Amhara's liyu hail is created to fight against Tigray, Oromiya, Beneshangul, etc. Oromia's liyu hail is created to fight against Amhara, Tigray, Somali, etc.

Tigray's liyu hail is created to fight against Amhara, Oromo, Afar etc.

Telll me if they were created to defend the country against any external adeversaries/aggressors.

So you are saying, the Amhara Liyu should have sit tight while the TPLF army was massacring the ENDF that you so proudly seem to be supporting ? They should sit idle and let your strategic buddies, the TPLF boys ran thru Woldiya and Gondar to finally give you the liberation that you have been dreaming about?

I didn't talk about why Liyu was created..in fact I am one of those who supports the disbanding of such forces. However, the reality is they are there until your kin decides what to do with them. In fact the existence of Liyu Hail is a security threat for the country to continue as one polity. Oromiya has trained Liyu for more than 32 rounds numbering in hundreds of thousands. Such large number of Oromiya Liyu is unable to defeat the few rag tag bandits roaming in Wellega. Oromiya Liyu in fact lend hands to help its soulmate OLF, to massacre innocent lives just because they are perceived to be none Oromos.

If you had carefully listened to your PM, you would have at least agreed with his statements regarding the Amhara Liyu that you are so hasty to denounce. They paid in blood to save the ENDF that you pretend to support at least for now. No amount of money could replace the lives lost but, you are concerned about the few pennies thrown at the Liyu of Amhara.

The People of Addis Ababa are 70% Amhara and 99% Amharic speakers. If they give a few pennies for those who died to save them, it is their responsibility. We all know why the OLF boys are so scared now that their backbone aka TPLF is routed within a few days of engagement.

the operation was conducted to enforce the rule of law (ህግ ማስከበር) and the Amara liyu Hail was also deployed to be part of the law enforcement power of the state.

That is good, i have no problem with that, becuase the integrity of the nation itself was in grave danger.

But your Amhara liyu hail didn't understand what it means to enforce the rule of law. if you may claim otherwise, then you have to enlighten your audiences what it means to profane the national flag of the country and wave unconstitutional flag of the same country that they were supposed to enforce its rule of law and defend it.

I don't know how much they were involved in the whole of the operation but the little information i have says that they were deployed to only the border areas to the Amhara region.

If this is true, then their main mission was to avenge and there by reclaim the territory they considered was taken from them.

Then they turned around and claimed themselves about grabbing power at the regional level and start calling themselves deputy Administrator and responsible for the security of the area they forcefully occupied. This was how they were involved in the law enforcement operation, for your Amhara liyu hail.
