Dubbing it "anticipatory self-defense" while in reality this should be a proverbial saying of eating the very hand that fed you.

"This made it a justified war", said General Berhanu Jula, "and it made it favorable for us at the end, because we knew that we will win as it is a justified war".

"If we started the war perhaps earlier, we could have lost it, becuase it couldn't be appealing to all stakholdeers as a justifiable war and could have been more difficult to sell it as such".

The selfish woyane entered Addis Ababa and started to push away the farmers from the surrounding areas of the capital and started to sell and get rich over nights the lands where those farmers were toiling for generations. The victims were forced to lead a destitute life by such practices as a consequence, another instance of injustice. This injustice backfired on them and finally costed them the very power that they used to amass the wealth from the poor man in his own country.

They were pushed back to Mekelle. The injustice they committed against the national army of the country pushed them back to the dedebit deserts, from where they started waging their guerrilla war.

But they say old habits die hard, woyane is now history, Ethiopia is getting leaders who understand how to handle them well with time slowly but surly.

You could become history but still you could have been so with a good name. Woyane disappeared from the scene with a bad reputation as a consequence of the selfishness of its actors.

The people on the ground turned overnight from building a G+2 housing to now waiting for aids to arrive, a historic instance of self-destruction.

There is an Afan Oromo proverb which says "obsaan aannan goromsaa dhuga" (ኦብሳን አነን ጎሮምሳ ዱገ)።

Which is sort of "the one with patience can wait to drink the milk of an heifer" (i think it should be a good quality milk).

People waited with patience and showed very much restraint in the face of the countless instances of woyane's bravados and actual instances of sabotaging the rule of law in the country, which finally paid off for the disadvantaged side.

How woyane became so lost in the jungle without any camera to orient itself with?

Federalism means an arrangement where you can give and take something, tolerate each other and don't try to dominate the rest in the club. This arrangement was crafted by their own people.

Did they try to understand what that means? I doubt.

If they did, then how come they think always in the opposite direction on all of those counts and failed to anticipate how that could backfire on them?
