My guess is, Tarik is Embaye Melkin.

He said it once that he was from the arabic speaking/Welqait clan. Meaning, from Humera or close to Humera. That explains his Tigrait language mastery. He grew up in Eritrea, his mother could be Eritrean. Now, let us look at his political stand. He hates the Tigrayans and Oromos. But, he loves Eritreans and Amharas. I have no problem with that.

Tarik, reveal yourself.

Stop giving us that wishful desire of yours. You must be the only person whose ancestors include Embi Yale Woldu (Raesi Woldemichael Solomon) and Bahta Hagos in tandem

Eritrea,
Nah, Tarik is not Embaye Melekin. Deqi and Embaye Melekin's heritage are similar. But, Deqi couldn't be Embaye though.

I hope brother Deqi forgives me for that.

I would love to hear Deqi's opinion on Embaye.

His real name is Samson.
He can not be from Gash-Barka.
Unlikely

Where did you get that false information. There lots of Samsons and Daniels in Gash-Barka. As a matter of fact I am partly from Gash-Barka.

When I see the character Tarik, I envisage him the lunatic guy "wild Bill" in the movie the green mile.
Here is the Tarik.

Deqi,
That is funny. Tarik is wedi torserawit from welqait. But, he has stopped dividing Eritreans long time ago. For that, I admire him. Besides, he could turn out to be another DR. Abbiy. His mother is most likely, Eritrean. I would like to work for the Eritrean Secret Service for free ( I will pay to do it

) when Eritrea becomes fully democratic
