You better sit and think what this war will do to the future of Ethiopia. i personally believe the war was not necessary and the situation with the TPLF could have been handled with more patience. But now it is too late to reverse the course. Given the overall political environment and the worlds take on the war, the war achieved only on thing: recognition of Tigray by the world. It all starts here and ends in independent Tigray. If you rule out Tigray federating with Eritrea in the long run it will be up to you. I think you are either stupid or dishonest or both of them. War is always not necessary and unavoidable at the same time. It is funny that you mentioned patience. Both Eritrea and Ethiopia gave Woyane leaders a very long time to rethink their stubborn position but they refused to listen. Life is short we can not wait for them for ages to change. More patience even after the murdering of thousands of soldiers in their sleep by TPLF? More patience after taking over of the strategic weaponry of the country by TPLF? More patience until they come back to Menilik Palace and install Jawar as a puppet PM..? lol What is the virtue of patience anyway?

Tigrai could have gone for the 39th while it was in its "super power" status in the country. Do you honestly think that they stayed with Ethiopia for the sake of Ethiopia? Why is staying with Ethiopia is a no go while federating with Eritrea is a possibility? what was the Badime war all about? What was the main issue that led to the barbaric attack by TPLF forces against the ENDF northern Command? What was there to give by the Ethiopian government that could possibly bring TPLF to the table short of agreeing to perpetuating their hegemony?

You worry for the future of Ethiopia? Ethnic Federalism will continue and identity politics won't go away ..if that is why you are so worried. Banebris -- Yes TPLF were very bad for Ethiopia, but all out war against them will only breed resentment by generations to come. I sense you have a soft spot for weyanes , and its within your right to do so . But your first sentence and the second one contradicts it self. If you start with a notion that Weyane and Tigrians are the same --yea you might be right.But I never took that to be true. Yea --there are Tigrians who had a free ride just because they were Tigrans -- and any low conscious individual will bark where it is feed, but the true son and daughters of Tigry with a broad knowledge they would chose their hard earned money than a looted one , if it became at cost of other Ethiopian people resentment. So Hating and burring weyane is a duty of all Ethiopians regardless. You might not get the ramifications of the death of Weyanee because of many reasons, but if you did it is an epochal event . Just as we marked the End of the emperor region in 1974-- it more significant departure from the old and very important to the new path we are charting. I hope it would be founded on some thing durable so that peace and development last long. It is my hope and prayer Ethiopians learn from the misdeeds of Weyane ,but they would have a forgiving heart to heal the wounds to bring unity across religion and nationality --and to see our difference as beauty not as a curse .I sincerely believe we Ethiopians are capable of doing that.
