TPLF's last ditch effort to take the fight to Eritrea has been foiled

One of TPLF's 11th hour plan was to take the fight to Eritrea by sending in all their remaining forces to fight Eritrea and deliberately internationalize the war. But Eritrean and Ethiopian commanders were aware of this this, so after securing Western Tigray (cutting TPLF from sudan), their next target was to deny TPLF forces any land border with Eritrea. This is why the Rayaa front took a backseat to the northern front. People forget but the wars in the DRC initially started in Rwanda. Once Kagame and his rebels pushed Hutu militia into the DRC and went chasing for them, the war morphed into a life of its own that the DRC has yet to recover from. But with the nearest TPLF forces to Eritrea being pushed back 100 miles south, TPLF is forced to make its last stand in Mekelle. Military experts believe TPLF forces will surrender after a few days of fighting. Mekelle will be liberated by this weekend.
