This is very true. Mekelle is the most violent city in the Horn of Africa (ignoring al-shabab's random bombings in Mogadishu). There were reports of people being robbed at gun point and bank heists all the time. There is a lot of local gang activity in Mekelle.

While the cheetah Tplf militias are running from every front LeteSenbet style, their final resting place, MeQelle, is under huge riots before a single bullet is fired in the City.

Now the people are taking their shares of the loot that Nega Dynasty has had a monopoly on. It is a kind of welth distribution instilled in the society by the Dynasty itself now going live. I am sure there is a lot more accumulated in that place that is

It's not looting. It's taking back what's theirs. The parasite tplf stole their money. All tplfs property needs to be redistributed amongst the people of mekele.

Looting is taking place in Mekelle right now. Shops, malls and wealthy members of the tplf have been the targets so far. The deprived mekelle residents have been seen taking items they seem valuable in massive number. Low and order is crumbling and those who posses vehicles have already started moving out of the city taking their most essentials for fear of the upcoming battle in the city
