Wukro town, north of Mekelle, is under Ethiopian Defense Forces Control

Wukro town has been captured by ENDF. A lightning attack from the Afar region during the night caught TPLF forces by surprise. TPLF forces hastly retreated in panic. The capture of the town leaves Mekelle vulnerable from its north. ENDF is expecting a counter attack by TPLF forces. More news to come.

Silk Da Shocker There are 2 Wkro/Wikro towns, The one captured is "Wkro" a small town between shire and Aksum-Adwa. The Big "Wikuro" that lies between Adigrat and Mekele is not yet captured. We will capture it very soon. Thank you!!

Thank you for the correction. Why are both named Wikro?
