Eritrea changing its national symbol

Eritrea is a small and very new nation, used to be part of the old Abyssinian or Axumite empire for millennia. It is not rich, in fact poor, especially after the devastating Badme war but its ambitions under Issaias Afewroki, like him or hate him, is way above its size and punches beyond its weight. The aim here is not to comment about its weaknesses which are obvious and not necessary to repeat here.
This is about Issaias. He is tough as nail, very proud, ragged, monastic, calculating, holds grudge or grievance for years, never tolerates disdain, does not care about glorification, ruthless and ferocious, values loyalty more than anything, takes multiple risks and pays in dear blood to protect his honour, has anger like a raging fire, stubborn ... very repressive ! ...
Just look what he is doing to the Woyanie Tigraians now for what they did to him in the last 20 years.
The last thing that Issaias should do right now is to change the symbol of Eritrea into a Leopard.
That represents him more than any animal.

Here is Issaias hunting:

If one walks about only ten kilometers north of Asmara, north east of Adi Nefas, on the way to Durfo you will see some leopards.
Here is recent short video clip. If you walk farther to Embatkala, you will encounter many.
Even the area around May Habar, the home camp of Shaleqa Dawit W Giorgis in his early years as a young officer in Eritrea,
there are some leopards here and there.
After all, it is here in Durfo, Tekli Weyni, Raesi Adi ... that the EPLF was born and created. Not in some Arabian land or Cairo as some inferiority laced parasites tried.

Why would anyone adopt an ugly Arabian camel as a national symbol is bewildering and bemusing to me.

"The original range of the camel's wild ancestors was probably southern Asia and the Arabian peninsula. Its range included hot, arid regions of northern Africa, Ethiopia, the Near East, and western and central Asia. The dromedary typically thrives in areas with a long dry season and a short wet season."
Species: C. dromedarius
Genus: Camelus
