Agames Have Evolved A Wonderful Mechanism for Self-Deception where Losing is Winning

One is mesmerized by the strange phenomenon we are witnessing these days about Tigayans. Although the disaster that has fallen them is incalculable, they are still boisterous and determined to believe that they are actually winning. All the lands they stole like Humera, Welkait, Tsegede, Raya and Badme are gone forever, yet Halafi Mengedi is still hallucinating about victories. How, for God's sake, does the brain of these people work so that disaster becomes opportunity and defeat becomes victory? Here is what I think.
For over a thousand years, Agameland has been a place if misery. If it is not the punishing natural disasters such as drought and locust invasion, the endless wars had wrought havoc on the Agame mind. The constant stress and uncertainty has helped to evolve an Agame mind that is always looking for short term benefits and has no conception of long-term friendship or alliances. Thus the tendency to lie, cheat, steal and back-stab. All these are survival mechanisms. And when bad times come, the agame mind had evolved a mechanism to block and deny. That is why Agame ignore their disasters just like they have ignored the 40,000 languishing in Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Agames are boisterous, boastful because they have to be to survive. It is evolution. So today, they are lying as never before. UAE has droned us they claim because that would alleviate the pain of their loss to the Amhara militia. We captured 10,000 they claim and even make a video drama to show some Eritreans because that way they can deceive themselves that they are winning. It is pathetic and needs to be dealt with by expert mass psychologists once the dust settles. Otherwise, Agames will go on believing they won even when the TPLF is finally buried and forgotten.
