Amhara and Tigray people are not fools to fight each other.
The issue of internal boundary, where some Tigray villages and towns have been under Amhara is not an issue at all.
All towns and villages could be under Amhara or Tigray. Important is Amhara and Tigray get the opportunity to speak their language and have courts conducted in their mother tongue.

Historically, there has been no wars between Amhara and Tigray. They were co-dominating Ethiopia. Even though , Amhara under Menelik and Haile Selassie had the upper hand.
