Similar things happened In Amhara because the geographical proximity they forcefully destabilize Amhara farmers and gave their fertile land to their followers. They committed unpresented savage atrocities and economic, cultural and economical sabotages against other Ethiopians including rigging election. Unofficially they almost made it Tigrigna an official language. IN order to get employed or get service speaking their language was detrimental.
