The Agame's biggest problem now is not defeat. That they have accepted. What is driving them crazy is that they will be defeated by Ethiopians, especially the Amharas. So they are desperately trying to involve Eritreans so that they can claim to have been defeated by Eritreans. For them, that is an honor. But Eritreans are saying "no way take your defeat from the Amharas." Even the latest provocation of a missile attack will not make Eritrea grant them their wish.
The Agame are a very odd people. The sooner they are totally and absolutely defeated the better for the region.
