Missiles hit Eritrean capital, Asmara, after Tigray threatens to attack Eritrea
There are reports that missiles have hit the Eritrean capital, Asmara.
The reports, which come from Eritreans in the diaspora who have spoken to residents, suggest that the airport and Ministry of Information were hit. Residents say there were very loud explosions.
There is said to be a blackout, with some people fleeing the city.
This follows statements broadcast on Tigray television today, saying that Eritrea would be among Tigray’s targets. Other targets were in Ethiopia.
This comes after reports that Eritrean troops have been involved in the fighting in Tigray, including shelling the town of Humera.
Sources close to the Eritrean government said that missiles had been fired at Asmara, but denied that the capital had been hit, saying that they landed in the countryside.

I wish if PIA remains patient and refrain from responding in kind.
These beasts know very well their time is up. Their intention, by dragging Eritrea into this war is, to establish a false narrative that they have lost because they were attacked by two Governments.
Their other calculation is to incite opposition in Eritrea and get, according to their wishful thinking, some Eritrean brothers on their side.
Anyways, the D-Day is fast approaching and the traitor and hater TPLF’s demise is already written on the wall. 50 years of hateful madness shall end!

Martin Plaut is a notorious liar, lights are still on, missiles were launched into Eritrea, but they landed in the outskirts of the city. I spoke with some family members they said they heard about 3 or so explosions but they did not landed in the outskirts. I'm hearing the same from other people as well. The general mood is to wait for Ethiopia to finish off the TPLF instead of flattening Mekelle in response and internationalizing this situation in Ethiopia like the TPLF wants.
