Zalambessa Falls to Ethiopian Army
- Ethiopian Defense Forces are knocking the gates of Adigrat.
12 Nov 2020 - (EP) The border town of Zalambessa (pictured 2018) is freed from the hands of terrorist TPLF groups, a source tells Eritrean Press.
The government’s military response against TPLF rebel group has advanced to the nearby Adigrat city.
"The Ethiopian Defense Forces are 'knocking the gates' of the second largest cities in Tigray Region," said the source.
Surrounded by a range of mountains, Adigrat held a strategic position at the junction of the crossroads between Adwa in the west, Asmara and Massawa in the north and Mekelle in the south.
The federal forces had captured several towns in western Tigray where much of the fighting has reportedly been concentrated.
However, despite video and photo evidence from credible visiting media, the empty barrel Junta still claims that the Ethiopian armies have not captured a single town to date
