The Analyst's presentation preceded the War. At the time the Analyst's criticism on PM Abiy was his lack of action. As we know now, the action has been taken to go to war, meaning, both the Analyst and PM Abiy appear to be on the same page. Their difference was timing.
Watch the video for 2 minutes if you are pressed for time. This is fascinating stuff, to say the least.

This thinking is not isolated. Infact, if you care to spend time, this dangerous view, you find, is widespread. I say dangerous because it advocates the use of force and by disregarding the thoughts of Eritreans on the matter of access to the sea for Ethiopia, it perpetuates war, destruction and poverty.
Here's another talking head expressing this dangerous view of using force to subdue Eritrea and get sea access. Listen only to two minutes.

Lowlanderu. Well I hate to break it this news to you. What was Tigrian doing in Assab in 1999, when the focal point of the border conflict was in Badme? And didn't Tigrian concoct with Djubuti to invade Ras Domiera after the peace agreement with Eritrea.....You know what, you are even boiling my blood when you try to make some cheap point that "The Amhara are coming, The Amhara are coming" pretext as a means to sway Eritreans on Tigrian side. Eden ... how are they doing in Mekele , I heard some your soldiers found wearing skirts like a girl not to be captured by Ethiopian Lions. Is that true ?

Eden lol, i never expected you to be such stup!d person. These guys guys have an absolute right to give their personal opinions and you considered these two individuals as Organization. Do all Tigrians agree with TPLF? Absolutely not. Therefore, do not expect all Ethiopians to have the same view on different issues.
For example, some TPLF officials said the same thing about the port. Did you say the same thing to those Tigrians as you do now?

Mind you, this is one of TPLF's top generals who helped Eritrea to be independent!
