The Amhara are recent migrants from South and West Africa. They belong to Bantu African tribe just like Somalis, Oromos and others in the region. This is not insulting Bantu Africans. They are just a community in their own right just as any other community. The point is the Bantu Africans destroy instead of building communities.

The case of Amhara is complicated as some portion of them are Tigrayans or maybe Agew. The Amhara speaking tribe first settled around Bale and Wollega in South West Ethiopia. They expanded to North West Ethiopia as the result of war and migration of Oromo from Southern and West Africa. Calling the Oromos Bantu Africans is not an insult. The West Africans are proud that they migrated to East Africa.

In case of The Amhara, they have no land they could called their own. Gonder is Tigray. Gojamme has been part of the Omotic people. Lake Tsana is Tigray or part of Tigray.

Probably Bale in South Ethiopia the origin home of the Amhara. Most of Shoa has never been under Amhara. Dabra Burhan is Oromo or was settled by Oromo. Probably Tegulet District is Amhara.

Tigray should get it's own territories back. Giving away Tigrayan villages to Amhara is wrong and is unacceptable.

How are you going to resolve it? Proclaiming it to be absent or irrelevant does not make tribalism disappear.
We have to punish Menelik by removing his monument and renaming the schools, hospitals and streets with another name.
We need to ban Amharic and use English as a working language. I have become hopeless for Ethiopia because the Amharas are anti-Ethiopia. They see their tribal interests first. They produce tones of tribal hate through their songs, theaters (plays). At work places, they take advantage non-Amhara Ethiopians, blackmailing and sabotaging them. They want to be the only directors, mangers of the few companies the country has just like the Whites in USA or South Africa.
