1/ So far I was convincing myself that TPLF took over the Northern command via some kind of sabotage and agreement with higher military officers, and no soldiers were killed or opened fire at by TPLF forces. But the news is different. If TPLF occupy the Northern military command center by force, without any negotiation with the commanders and higher military officers, then I will stand with Abiy, no matter what. These soldiers were there for long period of time, and recently helping the Tigray people in eradicating locusts. Do they deserve punishment? NO NO NO. If it really happens, TPLF still remains a primitive rats, that never ever learn from the past, pelresent and won't learn in the future.
2/ If What the Neftegna propaganda says is true, regarding bombing of the TPLF depo around Mekele, or wherever, then TPLF needs to either surrender or look for exit. These people were just barking dogs while drinking beer and raping woman all these 2 1/2 yrs.
3/ I wish all the above happenings are false, so that I can sleep peacefully dreaming for bright future.

I have a family member in the airforce and he told me in some places TPLF Liyu simply massacred the soldiers while they were unprepared. You are right. They are still the same primitive cruel evil as they always were. After he told me I have no sympathy for TPLF for their evil action.

Why do you think there was heavy gun fighting near mekele? Tplf took control of the arms depot after the attack. The federal troops that were stationed in adyabo were also attacked and they had to surrender to Eritrean troops. Tplf bit the hand that fed it. And now it's paying a hefty price.

Everything you hear is a lie, the army was busy chasing locusts and then harvesting for the farmers of Tigray all over Tigray and they are agreed Debretsion to command them. EVerything is voluntary but Tigray is handicapped by them not to take very harsh measure or respond in order not to irritate any ethnic who are stationed in Tigray, that is the disadvantage working with them.

Abiy he should make it public what these weyane vipers done to the Ethiopian army that went there to protect these ungrateful snaks . No secreat should be kept -- and for what reason. One should not cover a crime that was committed against Ethiopian defense forces that was stabbed while sleeping. Death to weyanes. They killed them because they want the Ethiopian defense forces weapons so that to kill more Ethiopian. There is no Enemy as weyanes. They should be avenged.

It is high time to jump from the stinking sinking boat! I warned several times as a distant uncle Marble but you refused and stayed to take the heat like that low IQ kid calling himself Yaballo Afaan Qalqallo.
Tplf wanted to have control over the modern military equipment for the neutralization of the Ethiopian military because it regards the current national army as traitors to tplf evil plans because they are not the same divided and weak regional armies organized by the tplf and controlled by the tplf for the last some 27 years.
Additionally the tplf wants to deny protection for the Nile dam by having control over the effective modern Ethiopian military equipment and in that way open free rides for the Egyptian attacks recently demanded by the hallucinated parrot.
Add to these the fact that Tplf plans to attack both Ethiopia and Eritrea using some and or all of these superior modern military equipment it planned to loot from the Ethiopian military so that it may be able to boast high and loud like always hoping to demonstrate its unchallenged authority and godly superiority either threatening to declare the much talked and highly bragged sweet independence and or come back to Mamma Oromiyya and Mamma Ethiopia, settling in Baba Menelik's palace on the hill, especially now that the palace have been renovated and made to shine under the Sun whether you seat there drinking water or aromatic wine. Tplf's problem is that it does not know how to cut its trousers according to its own sizes, so to say. So tplf needs to surrender unconditionally and call it a day, now!

You are admitting the claim of backstabbing as correct but then want to present it as something "voluntary"? They wanted to be commanded by Debretsion? Why on earth?

I am not surprised by what TPLF did. Their contempt for the Ethiopian state is so deep seated. They would do anything if it helps them get to power. What I am so surprised about is how the Military didn't see the attack coming.
It is a massacre beyond words could describe. Regardless tho, Ethiopia shall prevail. The traitors will soon get what they deserve.
