The Ethiopian federal army that was stationed in Badme area got attacked from the Ethiopian side by tplf army and the federal soldiers instead of surrendering their army to tplf surrendered to Eritrea instead. The wounded Ethiopian soldiers are being treated in Eritrean hospitals in Barentu
