I heard the the US supports the formation of Transitional Government of Oromia pending referendum for independence.
Cohen said his greatest regret is failure of supporting OLF request for referendum in the 1991 negotiations. He said Oromia deserved referendum better than cursedartera but he admitted he supported the latter while opposing the former. Now it seems Cohen has convinced the state department to help Oromia achieve its freedom.

Good observation, the west found out all the resources are in the hands of Oromo and are easy to manipulate them than Tigray or Amhara control and they want to see Oromo and Somali free from the fraud empire right now specially German is backing the Oromo and the Arabs are backing Somali, if Sudan and Egypt are wise, they should back Tigray and take Beneshangule with Tigray including Afar, Qimant/Agews.

what you heard is...a good advice for the minority TPLF party to accept the verdicts of the people. What the Americans are saying is a renegade minority party armed with AK-47 isn't allowed to dictate terms to 95% of the country if the law of the land is to be respected. You are sore losers at your own game ..so deal with it. 
On another note, your excessive presumptions of the Oromos to supposedly die for TPLF to come back to Menilik Palace is very condescending. Obo Ibssa has not even been able to pull together a party that he thought he led for over three decades. He is a lone wolf deserted by his pack when found out that he has been a wand for TPLF. I feed bad for Jal Ibssa for losing it so bad after spending a good chunk of his life misleading so many. Now what? it is increasingly becoming a possibility that TPLF is to face the Oromo led government on its own. Will TPLF do that...? we shall see...but am not holding my hopes high..

There should not be any transitional government from OLF. Abiy Ahmed can lead the country until next election. The so-called federalist forces are secessionists and should be disbanded. TPLF is getting more stupid with each passing day. The people of Tigray do not want to secede from Ethiopia.
The people of Tigray should condemn TPLF for promoting secession. The government of Ethiopia should arm those forces who want to remain united with Ethiopia. Abiy Ahmed should distance from Eritrea as they have their own agenda in Tigray or Ethiopia.
