Despite being in power for twenty-seven years, the TPLF leaders still have no clue about American foreign policy.
The American state department career professionals chart the American foreign policy in most cases. Even when a new president of a different party comes to power, the foreign policy does not change significantly. Well, there is an exception in some cases.
The American ambassadors are members of the State Department.
Geberkristos had been an Ethiopian ambassador to the US for many years. He should have known this: he and his likes could write a one million pages complain, but only the American ambassador to Ethiopia input could shape the relationship between Ethiopia and US.
I know the TPLF politicians are totally desperate. Their ignorance of world and Ethiopian politics have become a burden to their ambition. But every desperate move they make will breed more, not less, desperation. They should give up.
