The prosperity party is here to stay. What she should instead, if she is groomed to be the next leader of Tigray, do is to layout a strategy how to deal with the new party.

2013 is not 1991. In 1991 those who argued let us peel away the ethnic dressing from politics were automatically labeled the Amhara temketegnas. They were intimated.
In 2013, they feel ok thank you very much. In fact, they were encouraged by the great majority Ethiopians aversion to ethnic politics. Ethiopians need a party with a vision to create a robust economy, a party that cultivates learning in all levels, a party that strengthens national unity, and a party which is determined to root out corruption, and a party that creates a law and order that all Ethiopians will be proud of.
The lady if she becomes the next president of Tigray will do fine if she understands the people of Ethiopia’s wish.
The TPLF politicians for the most part still live their delusion. If she is one among them, she will be disappointed. Ethiopia had significantly changed in the last two years. Her prior kind of politics is not the way to go.

Tigray is a useless barren land and a place of no strategical value and Ethiopians don't give a crap If they become federalists or scessionist. You have nothing to offer, simply, you are a burden.

Dear All: W/ro Fetlewerq, or TPLF, should prove that the ruling party is illegal and/or unconstitutional

Otherwise, they cannot talk as if they have the final say in matters of the law or the Constitution of Etiyopiya, and be accepted. Let them go to the courts and prove that the ruling party is illegal or go to the House of Federation and prove that the Prosperity Party is unconstitutional. Then. things would take their own peaceful courses. Fetlewerq and the TPLF leadership should start by gathering their courage to publicly admit that their recent Elections were clearly unconstitutional.

There is nothing wrong for the Prosperity Party consulting with any individual or group of Etiyopiyans, but such consultations, or agreements reached at such consultations, are not legally or constitutionally binding. Consultations could lead to agreements, understandings, or conflicts. Ultimately, the law of the land should have the final verdict. The issues that the TPLF or other groups (such as the "Federalist Forces") raised could, however, be handled within the realms of Etiyopiya's current Constitution and laws. Could anybody point out if Fetlewerq's suggestion of the formation of a Transitional Government is Constitutional?

Others like their creation, Lidetu, promoted it purposely. The TPLF founders have not yet realized they lost the battle. They have no the politician brain to know that. Their political ignorance was dangerous to Ethiopians at large before, and now it is a danger to themselves.

She did not say that this "Shengo" is a replacement to the Elections Board. She, however, declares PP illegal, and suggests to remove the current ruling party (which has members constituting the majority in the House of Representatives, and legitimately is the Federal Government whose mandate has been legally postponed until the 2020 elections are completed) and be replaced by a certain undefined "Shengo". What is the "Shengo" then, if it is not a sort of Transitional Government by another name?
