TPLF’s illegal vote was a sort of a dry run for a referendum. The stakes are high for Ethiopia and Abiy’s coalition government. He has to hurt TPLF where it hurts. Cut-off Kilil Tigray’s budget. Abiy needs to grow a pair. Prime Miniter Abiy & President Isaias led the TPLF into a trap. Weyane is officially out of Ethiopian politics & rendered itself illegal. It is now an isolated island. Its defiance gives the gov of Ethiopia the freedom to handle it anyway.

My Grandpa told me long ago that, if you want the agame to go to the right, put on a poker face and insist that they go to the left, and their obnoxiously stubborn nature will make them go to the right. Mission accomplished. Game Over!

The "unpopular" Tigray opposition parties have received Birr 2 million each from the incumbent party (birr one million before the election result was made public and the other million will be paid on Sep 16) as a condition to ACCEPT their spectacular defeat. In other words, the incumbent party bribed these worthless parties to keep quiet.
