The objective of having election in Tigray in defiance of the federal government was to wreck havoc in Ethippia in collaboration with Jewar and Et al....it failed miserably because Abey took a preemptive strike against the jewar and TPLF network...now that network is totally decapitated. However, TPLF didn't want swallow its pride and it went ahead with the illegitimate election regardless its void and null nature in the eyes of federal government.
Abey is now ready to spank the old guards with targeted but sever sanctions.
About 25 top tplf leaders will be impacted by the pending sanction and its tenets include:
* travel ban
* freezing pension payment
* in collaboration with interpol- there is going to be intense search for looted hard currency and precious stones stashed away in foriegn banks under various schemes
* arrest warrant will be issued
* confiscating of properties bought under names of relatives and friends in Ethiopia
* many more sanction regimes will be taken...

It is also believed Arkebe Euqbay , EA CEO Tewelde, many others will jump of TPLF sinking boat...

The illegality of the election is a different issue from the election itself. One thinks that after all that hype the TPLF traitors will demonstrate, for the first time in their existence, some level of commitment for a fair and free election.

But alas! 98.4 % victory for the TPLF ethnofascists, and 2 million birr each hush money for the other parties!

I like what PM Abiy is doing. He has learned patience is a virtue. He is showing the values of the quality mentoring he received from you-know-who, to push his TPLF enemies to the edge of a cliff after assuring them that he won't push them, then watch them fall off the cliff as they give each other a congratulatory shove in the back for a job well done conducting the illegal elections. አየኻ ናይና!
