Deqiq, the real champions of the Ethiopian primier league in 1974 were Hama chided and not Akelguzay. The fact that the Ethiopian football federation dismissed Hamsien's final 6-0 victory over EELPA and disqualified Hama chided for no good reason at all might be seen as legit in Addis Abeba but not in Asmara

Hama were the champions of the people who won the league based on merit, while Ambasoira were crowned champions by Ydneqachew by reversing Hama's 6-0 win över EELPA to a 2-0 loss.

He thought a 6-0 win by an Asmera team over an Addis team was too good to be true, as if the EELPA amharas would favour one Eritrean team over another Eritrean team.

It would be ok if an Ethiopian were to lie about this, but for an Eritrean team to consider itself champion on the basis of obvious discrimination against another Eritrean team is beyond shameful.

Champions of the Ethiopian Priemer League 1972, 1973 and 1974 was nobody else but Hamasien.

Actually, that was why Ethiopia wanted to give the cup of 74 to Akeleguzay, because if Hamasien were to win the cup three times in a row (which they did) they would get to keep it.

Guys,

The 50's belong to Akele.
The 60's belong to Tele (Tele dominated the 60's when mostly Eritrean players dominated and won African title.)
The 70's belong to Hamassien. Both Akele and Hamassien were former Italian teams. The only teams that started as a native were the bad boys of club Seraye and Tele the former Gejeret team. Seraye was the spoiler in the middle. Seraye avenged Hamassien against the dirty Qudus Giorgis in Addis Ababa back in the 70's. The best player in the 70-s was Wedi Abdela from team Akele. That was healthy regional competition.
