For I am Eritrean, what amount of $$ funds has been cut or not is not my priority opinion. Calling Spade a Spade is a fair thing I believe. The $ 100 million funds that is supposedly given out by state department is the Carrot, There is a stick parallel to it which is a gimmick. who gives a crap about the meager $ 100 million which would be about $40 million after it goes through the bureaucracy chains. For Ethiopia, It is better to go it's own way and go ahead and fill the damn Dam. The benefits outweigh by far as opposed to appeasing the wish of Washington, the Sudan and Egypt. Ethiopia can make billions selling the hydroelectric product Energy by supplying to its much needed internal consumption as well as selling it to it's neighbors. And also use the water for farming all year around. So Ethiopia should tell the State to shove it's $ where the sun doesn't shine.
