Amharic should be banned and the Amhara culture limited to the villages in Gonder and Gojamme. By banning Amharic, we stop the influence of Amharas on non-Amhara Ethiopians. We also address the historical injustice committed on Oromos and other African tribes in South Ethiopia.
We can use Geez as a national or working language. Tigrigna and other languages cold be used as working languages.
In current Ethiopia, there is 24-hours TV playing Amharic music and broadcasting news in Amharic only. There are no programmes supporin the broadcasting of Somali, Afar, Oromo, Tigrigna music and films. We miss too much culture from non-Amhara Ethiopian, which form 90% of the population in Ethiopia.
Ethiopia should be forced to ban Amharic. It should be punishable to speak amharic in the streets or schools or to sing in Amharic or play music in Amharic should lead to punishment. .The Amhara or Amara (as the call themselves) are Bantu african migrants that migrated to South East Ethiopia around 12th Century. They assimilated to Geez speaking 0folks in North Ethiopia and took control of the country around 14th Century. They later were forced to migrate to Gojamme and Gondar, Wello and Shoa as the result of the Oromo migration to Ethiopia around 1530 CE.
