Yes, there is a contention among "Oromuma" as Ethio360 pointed out; p2 need to win that however, Addis Ababans don't need to rule p2 out as Abiy has shown commitment to AA is what I am saying. AA turning to a "state" shouldn't make a difference to Dr. Abiy in my view. So Balderas or anybody else shouldn't assume of getting a free ride.
Dr. Abiy's party can give anyone a run for their money!
