Raya Rayuma is Tigray. But there are some amharas in Alamta and Qobo. Qobo is mainly Amhara. Raya Rayuma might have been a province with a governor accountable to the king. However 98% of the population speak Tigrgna as their first language and are Orthodox Christians.
