Yes. Another missed opportunity by Abiy was his failure to invite Ermiyas Legesse to join his cabinet. The Addis Abeba Question will not go away. Abiy is trying all kinds of support-buying measures such as parks, recreational and tourist attraction symbolism. The fundamental question of democracy, equity and self-government of Addis Abeba will remain the permanent time bomb for abiy's well known desire to rule.

Is Dr. Berhanu member of the EPP or is there any power sharing agreement between the two parties, EPP and EZEMA? In the absence of both conditions how is Dr. Abiy supposed to bring in someone from a different party and assign to a given position within the ruling party?

Please clarify these questions and then I will come to understand about the "missed opportunity" and the logic of your thinking.

Some body doesn’t have to be your party member to be assigned to run a city to whom the city voted for, but election was hijacked by Meles at the time.
It’s about doing the right thing by correcting the wrong done back then and for Abiy this would have be an investment for the future to create coalition aa administration.
Besides, no need to spill the beans, but you know there’s an understanding & mutual agreement between the two parties on how to proceed forward to bring about the true change and unity for the country.
