Menelik chose to kill African tribes rather than integrate them in an egalitarian way -it would have made the difference

Menelik killed millions of Africans in South Ethiopia. Women's breasts were amputated and whole communities turned into slavery or serfdom. This had cost Africa billions of dollars, which could have been invested in economic projects. Menelik and his advisers could have negotiated with Oromo, sidama, Guraghe and other tribes in South Ethiopia. Menlik and The Orthodox church could have acted as guardians to Oromos, Gallas and other tribes.

One asks why Menelik chose the most expensive and destructive way of subjugating other African tribes?
The policy of Menelik is still practised in Ethiopia. The governments in Ethiopia have been waging wars of subjugation of non-amhara Ethiopians. This policy must be changed.

African people need a system where every community lives in peace. African tribes where ever they are should not be killed or systemically be forced to die by famine. Belonging to one ethnic group should not be a crime as people have no influence.

TPLF-EPRDF addressed this issue with some strategic mistakes.TPLF-EPRDF saw Ethnic federalism as a means to revenge. TPLF-EPRDF become corrupt and was overthrown.
